Get information and prices lists from funeral homes to plan your own funerals—if necessary go to a funeral home and talk to a director. Provide all the details your family would need to be able to fulfill all your wishes. Be aware that this ritual is to help survivors with their own grief work, so you would want to consult with your family to see how this plan could be helpful to them. Lay out your funeral plan in as much detail as possible, including, costs, timing, pre and post events, music (if applicable), etc.
Write a summary of how you felt about the data you gathered and the process.
