Doctoral Prepared Nursing Educators
Write a 1500-2000 word essay addressing each of the following points/questions. Be sure to completely answer all the questions for each bullet point. Separate each section in your paper with a clear heading that allows your professor to know which bullet you are addressing in that section of your paper. Support your ideas with at least five (5) sources in your essay. Make sure to reference the citations using the APA writing style for the essay. This week you will write a paper exploring the role of the doctoral-prepared educator, examining both the Ph.D.-prepared educator and the DNP-prepared educator. Compare and contrast the principles behind each of these doctoral degrees and how they lend to scholarly work.
How do these degrees balance one another?
What is the impact they may have on the future of nursing education?
Finally, share how you intend to use your DNP degree in nursing education (Students? The community? Patients?).
