PART 1: Ideas and information from your reading

What are the main terms or ideas used to talk about your topic? What do they mean and how are they related to each other? What do findings from past research tell you about examples of your topic?

PART 2: Analyze your own sample(s) of real-life language

Analyze sample(s) of real-life language (not invented examples) related to your topic. Use the terms and ideas from Part 1 of your assignment to explain interesting features and details of these samples. The sample(s) can be written text or sound recording – include the text in your appendix, or include a link to the recording and transcribe the parts that you talk about in your project.
