Part 1:
Spend some time looking at this painting. What are the main design elements? Consider all of the class content so far.
Write a list of all the vocabulary words you would use to describe this painting. Next to each vocabulary word include the definition of the word and how the vocabulary word is used in the painting.
For example: SHAPE= an element of art in a two-dimensional work of art, limited to length and height. “The triangular shape in the middle of the painting is green.”
There must be at least 10 different vocabulary words that are used to describe this work of art.
Part 2:
Use all of your vocabulary from Part 1 to write a short essay that visually describes this work of art.
When you use a word to describe the artwork, be sure to include a definition of the word and connect it to a specific area of the artwork, as is done in Part 1 of this assignment. Be consistent- part 1 and part 2 should match.
Consider proper spelling, grammar, and ESSAY style. Approx. 300 words.
Include both Part 1 and Part 2 in your submission.
