Relate the differences between business continuity and continuity of operations planning (COOP); and why businesses, government agencies and organizations engage in continuity planning
Outline the elements of a continuity plan
Display an understanding of the impact of contemporary events on continuity planning.
Below are seven topics.  You must select and respond to Topic 1.  Respond to it using at least two pages.  Of the remaining topics, 2 – 6, select at least five topics.  For each of the topics you select, provide a minimum of two pages of explanation of the topic, its relevance to public or private sector continuity planning, and how it incorporates and compliments community resiliency efforts.   APA formatting must be used.  You should use, and list, at least five references in the research of this project. 
Topic 1 (Mandatory):  Explain the concept of community resiliency within the context of emergency management planning and with continuity planning.
