After presentation of the service user experience episode, you must provide rationale for improvement, utilising relevant evidence. This is followed by a service improvement proposal, which you must describe in detail. This will demonstrate ability to understand the principles of successful implementation and must include an evidence-based discussion on the importance of considering cost-effectiveness. There is no expectation to build a business case, but the evidence behind it should be mentioned. Improvement of health provision must always be linked to the impact on the service user.
