“Overlooked and Underrepresented: Addressing Discrimination Against Asian Americans in the Workplace”

Introduction
According to Bell and Leopold (2017), Asian Americans are “overlooked in organizational diversity efforts and research and are viewed as not needing assistance and inclusion in efforts to ensure fairness” (p. 203). In addition, Asian Americans have experienced increased discrimination, prejudice, stereotypes, racial microaggressions, and verbal and violent physical attacks known as crimes in the United States over the past several years.
