Find an article published in the past 12 months in a national news organization

Find an article published in the past 12 months in a national news organization (New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Boston Globe, etc.). Do not use pieces from the Daily News or USA Today. They must be an article and NOT an opinion piece. Include the link to the article at the top of your assignment.
The article topic must be related to political parties, on an issue relevant to the module. For example, they can be articles about party organizations, nominations, campaigns, candidates, changes in party rules, party behavior in Congress, relationships between different branches of government, etc.
For this assignment, you will do the following:
In a first section, summarize the article and highlight the information they provide about political parties. This should be about one page. Do not copy the article word for word, but rephrase the information provided. Do not use direct quotes.
In a second section, you will connect the article to the readings for that module. You may use the following questions as guides to your reflection: how do the readings inform your understanding of the article? Is the information provided in the article consistent with what was presented in the readings? How does the course material help you understand the issue/event/process described in the article? This should be about one page. Refer to the readings using chapters numbers or page numbers (ex: “in Hershey (chapter 2 or page 225)”).
