1.) Create a one-page document on the disability you focused on for your short paper that provides a good snapshot of information that you can share with your peers. What, if any, special considerations would a patient with this disability need? What would you want physicians to know if they were treating someone with that disability? What would be your advice for treating someone with this disability?
For this, think of it as a guidebook for a person who has that disability – what would they need to do to prepare for their appointment?
2.) Generate 3 cases (like the ones we use for empathy mapping) where each character has the same disability you talked about in question 1. Answer the following questions: how does each character’s identity intersect with their disability? What are the primary differences in each character’s experience that are the result of other parts of their identity (e.g., race, gender)?
