Think about what she says about stereotypes – it is so good. In fact, be able to finish this quote about stereotypes “The single story creates stereotypes. The problem with stereotypes is not that they are untrue but that they are ____________.” Reflect on the below items in your paper. Where do these two videos come together? Are there some common themes? If so, reflect on those. Think about your stories – your frames and how they might intersect and impact your life and your health. Provide commentary about those intersections. How would you define intersectionality? Why is it important for future health professionals to be aware of this phenomenon?
