Create a continuous improvement plan for the team.

  • Step 1: Assess the current state of your existing team or the team within an organization you locate. [Provide little bit background of the team or organization].(prefer team : software engineering team)
  • Step 2: Map out the desired outcomes. There should be at least three stages (short-term goals, intermediary goals, and long-term goals). Assign time frames for each of the goals. (Use SMART technique if possible – SMART stands for :
    Specific: giving a clear description of what needs to be resolved
    Measurable: in terms of quality, quantity and cost
    Achievable : including gaining the agreement of your manager and team
    Relevant: specifying the business need to be satisfied
    TimeBound: in terms of completion date)
  • Step 3: Demonstrate how you will track the improvement journey. What tools will you need? What support structures will need to be in place? How will you motivate teams throughout the journey?
  • Step 4: Document how you will implement the plan, test it, and improve it as it progresses. How will you manage conflicts or other challenges? How will you manage stakeholder expectations and perspectives?
