In this assignment, you will explore a concern you have noted at your workplace, design a problem statement, and locate research evidence that provides a solution to that problem. You will locate a research article that addresses the problem statement, summarize the evidence, and explain how it relates to and possibly solves the problem. This is a tangible skill that, once acquired, you can use within your current practice.
Identify a clinical problem or a gap in practice. This may be the problem identified in this week’s discussion or a different one that you have experienced in your workplace.
Locate at least 1 peer-reviewed article related to the clinical problem or practice gap you identified.
Write a 400-word summary of the research article. In your summary:
Include the title and an APA-formatted reference for the article.
Write the problem statement.
Summarize the evidence.
Explain how the recommendations and evidence from the study provide best practices for your problem statement.
Cite all sources used to support your problem statement and best practice recommendation.
Format all citations and references according to APA guidelines.
