As you shadow a leader in a clinical organization this week (it can be your workplace), share with your classmates your observations on the five nurse executive role-specific competencies from the AONL observed this week:

– 1) Communication and relationship building

– 2) Knowledge of the health care environment

– 3) Leadership

- 4) Professionalism

- 5) Business Skills
