To clarify: I do have a topic but if you think there’s a better one by all means. It’ll be provided in the files. And the sources as well are in the files for some of the  requirements like my campus. Any questions please let me know
Length (10%): 4 pages.
Topic (10%):  Choose a topic that you feel strongly; do NOT choose a topic that you are indifferent to.
Articulation of the Problem (5%): Introduce the ʻāina-related problem(s) that you choose to deal with in this paper in the first paragraph of this paper (e.g. there is a profound misunderstanding associated with what the traditional Hawaiian ethical teachings are about). 
Topic sentence (5%): A topic sentence stating your position/stance has to be underlined and placed in the very beginning or the very end of the first paragraph (e.g. In this paper, I would like to argue that Virtue Ethics is a better ethical framework to understand the traditional ethical teachings of the Hawaiians).
Articulations of the Key Concepts (5%): Identify at least three key concepts that you are using throughout your final essay and define them as early as possible.
Reasoning (7%): Use the main body of the paper to demonstrate your reasoning process that backs up your topic sentence as well as deals with the  ʻāina-related problem(s) that you have in mind.
Objection (7%): Take a forceful objection against your position into consideration, and refute this objection as best as you can.
Recommendation (7%): In your conclusion, make an attempt to provide at least one recommendation based on the reasoning process of the body of this paper. Make sure that your recommendation(s) will not be contradictory to your topic sentence.
References (7%): Cite at least five academic sources (at least one from our reading assignments, at least one from a journal article, a book or e-book that you can find through a library of a UH campus, and at least one credible source from the Internet) to back up your claims. Be sure to use a citation style (APA, Chicago Manual, MLA) consistently in order to identify the sources of your information academically.
