You will identify 3 scholarly articles from a journal that was published in the year 2008 or after. 

This assignment requires you to explore a specific topic of interest related to death, dying, loss, grief and/or bereavement. Students will identify an area of interest, and then identify a specific sub-topic. The topic must be related to the course, and can be connected to at least one of the following: assigned readings, either of the textbooks, previous assignments or discussion posts. You will identify 3 scholarly articles from a journal that was published in the year 2008 or after.  You will provide a brief overview of your interest, research findings, and integrate new knowledge into what you have learned in this course. You will present your information in a PowerPoint presentation for the entire class to view.

Purpose:  To gain a more comprehensive understanding of an area of interest by examining current research on the specified topic. To identify information from multiple sources to create an informed and cohesive presentation.

Instructions:

[1] You will create a PowerPoint Presentation that provides a brief synopsis of your identified articles. The most important points will be presented on each slide.  Utilize a plain PowerPoint design. No graphics, appropriate amount of text on each slide. This presentation is a “read only”: you do not need to create audio for this presentation.
