During the semester we will discuss the pros and cons of student debt forgivenes

During the semester we will discuss the pros and cons of student debt forgiveness.  In early May each student will individually produce a well-reasoned written expository response to the student loan forgiveness issue, using qualitative and quantitative data they provide as evidence to support their conclusions with suggestions for implementation. A grading rubric and guideline describing the detailed requirements of how to produce well-reasoned written arguments using evidence to support conclusions is on Blackboard under Writing Resources. Use of outside sources is required and all sources, including sources of data, should be documented and cited in a Works Cited section at the end of the paper. Type or cut-and-paste your essay on Blackboard. This is due on Blackboard, May 7, 2024. Worth 100 Points (10% of grade).
THE INSTRUCTOR HAS PROVIDED A NUMBER OF RESOURCES BELOW TO HELP STUDENTS PREPARE FOR IN-CLASS DISCUSSION ON THIS TOPIC AND TO AID IN WRITING THEIR PAPERS TO BE SUBMITTED IN MAY OF 2024. USE OF THESE RESOURCES IS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE INDIVIDUAL STUDENT.
