Instructions
Each student will choose either a memoir or a biography related to a leader’s journey. The student will write a paper, detailing the journey and lessons learned and applying those lessons to the student’s own future in leadership. What individuals influenced this leader, and in what ways? What major challenges and/or defining moments did the leader face? How did these form the leader? Using examples from class content, evaluate the leader’s performance. Where did they fall short? Where did they soar? The student will present their final paper in a short format. 
Your paper should include at a minimum:
Crucible moment(s) from the leader’s journey
Three concepts from the class
Reflections on what you learned, including:
Lessons learned that the student may apply to their future in leadership
Your impressions before and after you read the book
What you learned from the leader’s experience that will help you be a better leader in your career
