This is a written reflection/evaluation on a Public Speech.  There must be a video recording of the speech and it must be delivered to an audience in the room.  It cannot be a speech that has been delivered electronically such as through ZOOM.
It should be two pages in length or longer, and I would suggest you use 12 or 14 font/point size.
Consider the following:
Setting/Context 
Where was the speech delivered (location?)  Whenwas it delivered?  Who is the audience?  Was there anything notable about the physical setting (room size, podium, amplification)?
Content of the speech/Argument
What was the purpose/thesis of the speech?
Summarize the main points.
What evidence does the speaker use to support the main points e.g. statistics, expert testimony, definitions, examples?
Evaluate the overall strength of the speaker’s argument.
Delivery
What type of delivery did the speaker use – memorized, manuscript, cue cards?  Consider the quality of the voice, projection, variety of pitch, pace, volume.
Organization
Is the speech well organized and easy to follow?  Does the speaker use a specific organization pattern?
Overall
What is your assessment of the speech?  (In terms of setting, content, organization and delivery?)  How effective was it for you?
