I am currently working in one of the largest school districts in the Kansas City Missouri area as a Paraprofessional in a level 3 Autistic classroom we go by the Aris curriculum and by the Missouri standards to teach our students who are nonverbal and verbal with behaviors issues the district has a plan called the Blueprint 2030.
In the Blueprint 2030 Strategic Plan, you will find a renewed emphasis on personalized learning, cutting-edge STEAM technology, Fine Arts expansion and a renewed sense of urgency around literacy. Everyone is committed to fostering a learning environment that equips our students not only with academic proficiency but also with the skills, values, and resilience needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.The success of Blueprint 2030 relies on our collective effort – parents, students, educators, community members, and stakeholders. Based on your readings review of course materials, please identify two ideas from focusing direction, the first element of Fullan’s Coherence Framework. Select ideas that resonate with your thinking about the challenges facing curriculum design teams or committee work.
Select one idea from each framework and reflect upon the importance of that idea for teachers and leaders of curriculum work teams. You may approach your reflection response through any one of the following suggested routes. You are expected to elaborate on the idea you have raised providing your take on it. Your objective is to pursue a route to a deeper personal understanding of the idea through one of the following:
