Search and select from the internet a local emergency management plan from either a medium (100,000 people) or large city (200,000 plus) or county from any state in the United States. It is recommended to find a plan in your local community if that is available since it will be more relevant to your experience. Write a 3-page paper that reviews the components of the emergency management plan that you selected. Critique the plan for its ability to address important components of an emergency management plan. Try to be concise and follow the outline and paragraph parameters as seen below. Use the following sections as Level I headings: Overview of the Selected Community, Demographics, and Locality (one paragraph) Overview of the Plan’s Inclusion of Special Needs Populations and People with Disabilities (one paragraph) Critique of the Local Plan (one paragraph for each Level II heading) Use Level II headings under Critique of the Local Plan: Note: use the headings below to address the local plan’s ability to address the following in their local plan Planning Faith-Based and Public Partnerships Preparedness Response Recovery Mitigation Efforts Level I heading: Conclusion (two paragraphs)
