This question is your last chance to show me what you have mastered this semester in Music 101.This essay will show me the depth of your thinking about how a piece of music works. It is NOT A RESEARCH PAPER. Instead, it requires that you reflect on all the things you’ve read and listened to this semester, synthesizing them into a cogent answer to this prompt. Your essay should demonstrate how well you can use the musical vocabulary and concepts you’ve learned.
This is NOT A RESEARCH PAER.  You do not need any material beyond what is in the course modules, your brain, and your imagination, be creative. Your essay should draw on relevant insights from the readings and other materials, referencing examples from modules 5-10, and using the appropriate vocabulary from modules 1-4 to be as detailed and specific as you can.
Prompt: The year is 2100. The CCNY Alumni Association has commissioned you to compose an orchestral work for the New York Philharmonic, commemorating the Israel-Hamas war. Describe your composition.

Note:  The essay does not require Sources. However if you decide to use any please add quotation marks and add the citation at the end of the quote using the author name from the source and page number. I wouldnt want for my test to get a 0.
