Even today, researchers and practitioners do not always agree on the best way to define resilience and bring it into practice with young people. This assignment is an opportunity to evaluate and argue the perspective on resilience you feel is best based on what you have learned so far.

This assignment is an opportunity to summarize information about the relationship between resilience and the brain. Your ability to summarize and communicate information is important for advocacy in child and youth care work. In this assignment, you will summarize what you have learned about brain development as it relates to resilience for an audience of staff at a group care facility.

  1. Develop a one-page, double-sided pamphlet for group home staff that explains the effects of stress on brain development in children and the impact of adverse childhood experiences on

This assignment is an opportunity for you to watch a movie and analyze the impact from a risk and resiliency perspective. You will use the Circle of Courage to analyze various perspectives related to healing and promoting resiliency in Indigenous communities.
