Title: Exploring the Relationship between Social Media Usage and Mental Health: A Research Proposal

The assessment will be on an individual basis: 1500 words report, excluding the reference list.
This research proposal shall include a problem and hypothesis formulation, a measurement strategy, a sampling strategy, an analysis strategy, and a conclusion statement.
The hypothesis formulation should include a ‘claim to relevance’ an explanation as to why the research is relevant and what domain interest it could contribute to. The measurement, sampling, and analytical strategy should provide a descriiption of a technically sound and practically feasible project. Finally, the conclusion ought to be a well-supported assessment of what the project would allow the researcher to conclude, or say, with credibility.
The report will be evaluated on the basis of the arguments supporting the decisions to deploy a particular formulation of hypotheses, measurement, sampling, analysis, and conclusion. Coming up with a structure for this report is part of the assignment, it is evaluated on the basis of whether it can be deemed to be effective communication.
