This assignment asks you to interview an early-childhood educator (birth–3rd grade) about their career pathway, then compare it to your own philosophy and goals — touching on settings, roles, culturally affirming practice, and learning theory. Prepare good questions and reflect meaningfully.

Key takeaways

  • Interview an educator (birth–3rd grade) about their pathway and role.
  • Cover settings, regulations, requirements, and responsibilities.
  • Address culturally affirming, developmentally appropriate practice.
