Thank you letter
I want to take this opportunity to thank you, Miss Karen, for taking
the time to do this interview. I appreciate the information you shared and can tell you that I learned more about what it entails to be a community
health nurse. From the information you shared, I can tell
you that you are a great asset to your community.
As I Examined the many roles you play in your community, I wanted to offer
you a couple more resources that I think would benefit the Public
Health community nurse. One that come in mind is the American Nurses Association,
this organization believes that the public health nurse can use their knowledge
to promote good health and protect the community in which they serve.  The ANA expands on individual nurses’
contributions to public health by promoting policy, lobbying, and education at
the highest level (American Nurses Association, 2016). Another great resource I
found is the APHA (the American Public Health Association). This association has been in existence for 150 years, and its mission is to promote the health of all individuals and communities to strengthen the public health profession. It
advocates for scientifically sound public health policies (American Public
Health Association, 2024)
Once again, I can’t
thank you enough for your dedicated time and insights. You gave me a new
perspective on the future should I branch out to community health
nursing.
P.S. Feel free to add more body and credible resources to this letter.
