Discuss how and why prejudice involves constructing “the Other”, as demonstrated by discursive psychologists.

What is this question asking? This question is asking about how prejudice involves constructing ‘the Other’ (a statement of fact) and how specifically the discursive approach has demonstrated this successfully. You can either focus the essay entirely on showing how discursive psychology has shown that people construct ‘the other; in prejudice, or you can have a paragraph/some small-ish part of your essay that briefly relates to the positivist approach in SP to prejudice in order to highlight how this particular approach does not show how people construct ‘the Other’ particularly well.
